Dearly beloved, its great being with you today. Hope all is well. We shall be considering the above topic “Trust in the Lord”. The whole world as it is seems to be going through a dark era with earthquakes, bird flu infections, starvation, terrorist attacks, plane crashes to mention but a few. All these mishaps coupled with consistent wars and war threats, unrest in the middle east with seemingly peaceful withdrawal of Israel from their present location is an indication of one thing which is the close of age. The beginning of the end of all things. The coming of the our Lord
and saviour, Jesus Christ with the sound of the trumpet with those who are dead to rise first from the dead and we who are still alive (who are washed by the precious blood of Jesus)shall be caught up with Him in the skies. The time is so short that the trumpet may sound before you finish reading this message. All the signs have all being fulfilled, The withdrawal of Isreal which is the peace accord is one major indication of the coming of Christ and which we have
began to withness now.

Isa 42:18-20 reads, ” Hear, you deaf; and look you blind that you may see. Who is blind but my servant, or deaf as My messenger whom I send? Who is blind as he who is perfect, and blind as the Lords servants, “seeing many things but you do not observe, opening the ears but he does not hear?

Friends,all these occurrences of natural diseases around the world and accidents in the land, air and sea are all indications of the coming of Jesus. These are things He said we shall see before His coming.

Luke 21:8-19 highlights in details these signs firstly, many will come in My name saying I am He, therefore do not go after them. Secondly when you hear of wars and commotions, do not be terrified; for these must come to pass first, thirdly, nation shall rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom fourthly, there will be great earthquakes in various places and famines and pestilences and there will be fearful sights and and great signs from heaven, before these they will lay their hands on you and persecute you delivering you to the synagogues and prisons and you
will be brought before kings and rulers for my name sake. Please review these list and you will realise that not one of these signs is yet to be fulfilled. It has surely being fulfilled at on time or the other across the generations past and in the recent past.

Note also a salient point, we are reviewing what will lead to the close of age and not the rapture. The rapture will certainly occure before the close of age.

If all these are happening now it shows that rapture is so close as it can happen before you sleep tonight or the reading of this piece. However in the minst of all these, we are not to be afraid but to put our trust in the Lord. If you are fearful as you read this message then it may mean you have to put on or two things right with God in your
life. We must be prepared every day of our lives, we must live every day as though it is the last day of our life. Our trust must be solely in God and God alone. For they that put their trust in the name of the lord shall be like Mount Zion that can not be moved be abides forever. Trusting in the Lord makes you immovable even in the face of death. Someone once said I would rather die trusting the Lord than live in unbelieve. Whenever you trust in the Lord you leave the realm of the natural to the realm of the supernatural. This is because Trust simply means to have or put confidence in someone or something , hence when you put your confidence in God is shows that your confidence is in the living God.

Pro. 3:5-6 encourages us to trust in the Lord with all our heart and lean not on our own understanding; in all our ways acknowledge Him and He will direct our paths. A man who trust in God will surely have His way directed by God either consciously or unconsciously. Trusting the Lord is very important in every mans life. Beloved as the close of age approach and signs continue to prevail, we must surely put our trust in God. I am not saying we should live trusting in God, but I mean trust God a position of absolute faith in Him. Not believing but believe God. Trust God and you shall not be put to shame. Your trust in God makes you invisible to every evil that may lie waiting at noon day and in the darkest part of the night. Trust in the Lord with all your Heart. Shalom.
