Every man is a reflection of the words he speaks. Every word spoken is a reflection of the mind. A man is worth what he produces. The words of every man is a reflection of what he is worth. Words are powerful, creative, destructive, and can grow. The world was created by God and through his words, so also we create our world through the words we speak. Words are products of a mindset. The words that we speak is an evidence of the stuff everyone is made of. For where the word of a king is there is power.
Gen 1:1-3 reads ‘In the beginning, God (prepared, formed, fashioned and) created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and an empty waste, and darkness was upon the face of the very great deep. The Spirit of the Lord was moving (hovering, brooding) over the face of the waters. And God said, let there be light and there was light.’ (Amplified Version)
Beloved, in the beginning, the earth was without form, empty waste and darkness was upon the face of the deep. This is to say there was nothing attractive, enticing and worthy to behold on the earth yet the Spirit of God kept moving around, hovering and brooding over the face of the water; yet nothing happened until God spoke. If God had not spoken, the situation would have remained the same. However immediately God spoke the Spirit of God was packaged in the spoken word and things began to happen. God created the world by the power of the spoken word.
Everything in the heavens, on earth and in the grave that is under the earth respond to the spoken word. The situation on earth would have remained the same if God had not spoken.
The authority and power of the spoken word is also available to you and I in the kingdom. Always remember that a shut mouth leads to a shut life. The words you speak eventually come to play or come to pass in your life. You cannot live beyond the quality of the words you speak. The scripture says, “I will give you mouth and a wisdom that the enemy cannot gainsay.”
What is it that you want, beloved? Don’t just think about it, but speak about it, go ahead and declare it. Whatever you declare you ultimately possess. You cannot be declaring as a pauper and expect to live as a king. You have kept mute enough, its time to declare who you want to be. It is time to declare who the word says you are without fear. Always bear in mind that you cannot live beyond your declaration.
David and Goliath met at the war front and immediately David began to make declaration of his expectation and according to his declaration so it was. You cannot be quiet and assume it to be humility; it is a lie of the devil. Declaring the word is a key principle God has given his children to use at all times. You just have to declare whatever your heart desires.
When you wake up in the morning, declare the victory you have in Christ Jesus, say it loud! Yes, you are more than conquerors, you are a victor, and you are a star of the most high. Declare that you will increase all the days of your life; you shall be favored in all that you do. Increase is your portion. Do not keep a sealed mouth, open it and let God fill it on your behalf.
Beloved, what do you want from God, it is not enough to think it, you must declare it and make it clear, for if the trumpet will not give a certain sound, who shall prepare himself for war. The wars we fight are not with physical weapons, neither are they with machines. They are wars fought with words. Do not stop declaring because the more of the words we speak the more of the seeds you sow for a harvest. Your words are seeds. Remember the parable of the sower, Jesus said the sower sowed the word. Do not stop talking, do not stop declaring what you want God to do for you and you will not stop receiving. Take advantage of the power in the spoken word. Speak out! Heaven is waiting for your words.
Shalom
