Whatever introduces disorderliness into your life reduces your productivity. Show me an organized life and you have shown me a productive life. Since our Father in heaven is a great investor always desiring to have a maximum yield on all His investment, then our focus as His children must be to have maximum returns in whatever we do. He sent His Son-Jesus Christ as a seed to reap a harvest of the whole world to be reconciled back to Him. Anything God is
involved with always leads to increase, if really God is there then there must be increase, for we do not have a stagnate God. Remember when Peter toiled all night for fish and caught nothing, but when Jesus came on the scene, the story changed, He said to Peter, cast your net on the right side of the boat, this he did and great was the catch, Peter had to call upon other colleagues to assist him in drawing in the caught. It was indeed a net breaking miracle.
Whatever Jesus is involved in is bound to increase if not immediately but on the long run. He is a God of a better deal.
Beloved, please note also that we also have a part to play in having increase in whatever we do. If we don’t have a part to play then there will be no need for God to give us brains in our heads to think through issue of life. God has put everything in it’s raw state and it depends on us to put it in the state it ought to be to be able to bring in the required benefit to mankind. To achieve this feat, then there must be order. God is a God of order; He does not
just do things anyhow. He is a decent and orderly God. This was established from creation, God did not create man before other things. The first thing He put in place was light, “and God said let there be light and there was light”. Gen 1:3, the next thing he did was to divide the waters from waters Gen:1:6 and God called firmament Heaven – Gen 1:8, God further went on to gather the waters in one place and the dry ground appeared, this He called the seas and the earth respectively. He later went further to speak to the earth to bring forth grass, herbs and seeds to yield
the fruits. Friends, do you see perfect order in the things of God? All these He did before creating men to feed upon and tend and on the seventh day God rested.
If God, the creator of the heavens and the earth rested then you as a child of God need to rest or else you are looking out for trouble. You may be playing with your health if you continue to break the principle of rest. As long as you continue to break this law, then your health is put at a risk. You cannot be stronger than God. If God rested, then you
must rest. Rest from work, at least take a leave once a year, and rest from daily work also, you must sleep well.
Friends, one of the first major principles God taught us is the principle of order. As said earlier, whatever introduces disorderliness to your life reduces your productivity ultimately.
Mat 21:12-14 reads “Then Jesus went into temple of God and drove out all these who bought and sold in the temple and overturned the tables of the money-changer and the seats of those who sold doves. And He said to them, “It is written. “My house shall be called a house of prayer, but you have made it a “den of thieves”. Then the blind and the lame came to Him in the temple and He healed them.
Jesus had to introduce order into the temple or else abuse will take place. Please note the last verse, immediately He brought order into the temple, the blind and the lame received their healing. Anyone who is dis-orderly will continue to be in a state of blindness and will not be able to walk well, he is lame. Such a person’s speed is impeded. We do
not have an earthly temple again, but our bodies are the temple of the Holy Ghost, hence there must be order within our system. We are not to allow anything or anyone who is disorderly and not willing to change to stay around us because it could be contagious. Anytime or most time when we race against time, it is an evidence of dis-orderliness in our life. Disorderliness wastes time and when time is wasted, life is wasted.
Jesus when he was to feed the 5,000 men aside from women and children had to instruct the disciples to arrange the people in groups so that there could be effective distribution of food. He introduced order before he began to feed the people. Please do not waste time and opportunities by being disorderly. How do you keep you books, socks, clothes etc? How do you arrange and keep your appointments? Do you have a diary? Do you arrange your movement everyday? Please do not waste resources, let us be resourceful children of God, let us maximize what we have by being orderly so that our productivity may be to the fullest bearing in mind that order leads to increase. Shalom!
