Life is full of challenges, hurdles, problems to solve and troubles to overcome. Above all life is war. I have heard many people say life is not a bed of roses. This may be partly right as the graph of life is not always a perfectly straight line graph however for all believers it is sure that when the line of best fit is drawn it ultimately slopes upward. This is because the path of the just is like the shinning light that shines brighter and brighter unto a perfect day. Yet still many are the affliction of the righteous but the Lord delivers him from them all. In life as said earlier it is not possible to have a perfectly straight line graph considering we put all issues of life together. Life is all about solving problems and overcoming one challenge or the other. Sometime ago I met with a young graduate who said “if only I could finish my project and get out of the walls of the University I would have no more challenges and problems to solve in life as tough as this again.” Little did he know that the major hurdles in life are
yet to be crossed.

Notwithstanding in the midst of it all beloved, as long as you are a Covenant child, a kingdom believer that is washed with the precious blood of Jesus, your case is different because you are not in it alone. You are guaranteed of absolute victory in the battles of life. This is because the battle has taken place before now and all we are doing is to replay what has being accomplished before now.

Col 2:14 reads; having disarmed principalities and powers, at the battle royale, principalities and powers have been disarmed, hence what we are now witnessing is a replay of an event which we all know its end.

After Jesus died on the cross, He was buried in a tomb and for three days He went to hell and was afflicted beaten and punished and on the third day He rose from death victoriously. Please note that within these three days He was left and abandoned in Hell where He fought and won the victory for us all who believe in Him and are washed by faith in His precious Blood. He disarmed principalities and powers, chained them and made a public show of them openly triumphing over them in it. He defeated sicknesses and pains, disappointment and rejection and all that has to do with the devil and its agents. He did this for you and I so that whenever we are faced with troubles, problems and challenges we may simply replay the victory and establish ourselves in the victory that has being given to us. Before His death He said in Mathew 16:19 “And I will give you the keys of the Kingdom and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.

Kindly note the word “I will” that is a future event is expected to occur. After His death and resurrection, after the battle royal He said at His exit from earth, Matt 28:18 “then Jesus came and spoke to them saying all authority has been given to Me in Heaven and earth verse 20 reads further “teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you and lo I am with you always even to the end of age Amen.” When Jesus was leaving He did not carry the power or authority with Him because He does not need it in Heaven where He is seated at the right hand of God the
Father; however He gave it to the Church that is you and I to occupy till He comes.

Hence when we are faced with problems or challenges so to speak we need not fret like them who do not have God, but we must always remember the battle royale where Jesus disarmed principalities and powers after which we must be willing to replay the victory to the devil so that he may know that you know your right as a child of God. The devil can only thrive on your ignorance as a child of God to the extent you permit him to go.

From today, going forward, always remember that what you are going through is a film which has been acted before where the main actor cannot be killed no matter the challenge, irrespective of the number of times you play the film you will always get to the same ending.

In this film of your life, always remember that the Jesus in you is the actor that cannot be killed or swallowed up no matter the level of opposition or gang up, you are guaranteed of absolute victory because the battle royale has already been won before now hence learn to fight the good fight of faith, go on your knees victory is sure. You are too big to be swallowed up.
