God’s love towards us is unfailing and unconditional; unfailing because He is love. He has no other nature than the nature of love, God is Love. He cannot deny himself, He cannot change Himself. He is love personified. Further still, His Love is unconditional; it does not depend on what you do or what you do not do. He loves you just as you are.
Does it sound strange? God love even the sinners, the fornicators and adulterers. His love for them is unconditional and unfailing as well. However, He hates the sin in the sinner. He loves the sinner and always desires them to come to the saving knowledge of Him but He hates the sin in them. For while we were yet sinners Christ died for us on the Cross of Calvary, he did not wait for us to repent.

Beloved, having laid this foundation of God’s love towards us, it only lays upon us a responsibility to love and keep our lives and bodies for Him. Just as no man would desire to share His wife with any other man so God does not want to share our bodies with anyone else, because He is a jealous God. All sins lead to death; for the wages of sin is death but there is a particular sin that God really frowns at, which is sexual sin. This is because when you engage in
sexual sin you sin against not only God but your own body.

Remember you are bought with a price and you are not of your own. For God no longer lives in buildings made with human hands, but He lives in living temples that is you and I. You are the temple of the Holy Ghost. This is to say God the Holy Spirit lives on the inside of you. You cannot therefore carry God on the inside of your body and at the same time continue to live in immorality,

1 Cor 6:18 reads, Flee Sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or do you not know that our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit which are God’s.

Friends anytime you live in sexual sin, you run the risk of being destroyed faster than any other sin you destroy. All sin destroys but sexual sin destroys at the speed of light. This is because God Himself though in His infinite Love will destroy such a person Himself

1 Cor 3:16-17 reads “Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that God dwells in you? If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy Him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.

This is no joke at all. God said He will destroy anyone that defiles His temple. Are you a Christian always planning to have sex with the person who also is a child of God? Then you risk being destroyed. Do you both desire to have sex with each other illegally then you both risk being destroyed. Are you courting each other with the plan to eventually getting married and you cannot control your sex urge and allow such emotions to lead you into sexual immorality then you risk losing that relationship and then finally end your life in destruction. Sexually sin kills. Please do not spare it. It must be judged at every quarter. It is so much hated by God to the point that God say we should not keep company with a sexually immoral person.

1 Cor 5:11 reads “But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is a fornicator……

This is because it is contagious. It spreads quickly like wild fire. When you live in sexual sin, you simply cut off the hands of God from your life. The fountain of grace ceases to flow. It blinds your vision and focus. Remember Samson after he fell, the first thing the enemy did to him was to pluck out his two eyes then he began to do the work of a maid. Oh what a shame. When the mighty falls, everyone knows, however when the lowly falls they never get to the place of the mighty. God’s word is coming to you today not the person next to you but to you. Judge sexual sin immediately. Don’t cover it up. Are you already trapped in the web and you are praying assuming that you will eventually get out of it? No, you may not likely get out of it; you need to talk to someone who can help you. It does not only need prayers to get rid of sexual sin, you need to be counseled. Don’t hide or keep it to yourself. Notwithstanding, God’s love is still going out to you today saying stop it, clean up and walk straight. He wants to live in you because you are His temple. You have a great future, why destroy it. Flee sexual sin. Shalom
